Excellent action shot. Wake and splash are good. You are a patient man. |

Agree with above. I zoom in and can make out the feathers and as stated by Bruce and Bunny's analysis, nothing seems blown. Again the eyes are tack sharp. It looks tagged and if so, I wonder why ? One more thing, does it hoot with an Irish brogue ? I agree with Bruce and Bunny. Judges have different opinions and areas of interest. Resubmit seems like a plan. |

A friend has a poered rail that can be calibrated to the micro-millimeter and syncronize automatically to the shutter. That works well also. That is good when you want to stack with a software program. It may have more versatility. |

Everything in its place and a place for everything- the buildings, sun, cloud, cars busses and train. Love the double decker buses which I remember from studying in London. I did not know they were elsewhere. It is nostalgic for me. Not sure though if the cloud adds anything. The image leaves me wondering where you took the photo from. Very enjoyable photo. |

Lovely description and story, focus and color. Composition works well and seems balanced. I liked it somewhat better flipped vertically and horizontally but the ice does not fit that model. Background looks excellent. You do have quite an imagination, I should say. |

I love this shot. It has all the qualities already mentioned. It is also interesting how the shadows line up and drape at an angle over the stairs. The more I look the more I like it Bunny. |

I also can feel the pain. Great shot with all the right settings. Is that a high jump? I find myself wondering which sport this is. I was wondering if putting in more objects to give the sport more context would be good or even possible. The name does give it some context. |

Thank You Bunny. I cannot recall how many there were because I shot a bunch, one group after another. From the time stamps it seems there were only 5-6. I would have guessed 40 or so. The camera stops when it hits an area that is out of range of the main subject. It think it may use contrast to figure that out. It was stacked in Camera. I was concerned that the photo was too busy. What do you think ? |
