43 May 24 Reply Thank you for the input. Biggest problem was the eye was underexposure. I had to dodge the eye in photoshop to get any detail at all. The D.O.F seemed ok with f8 but there may not have been enough Contrast in the eye to get better focus. The camera seemed to track the eye, but I agree the eye could be better. You're the one with a "good eye". May 22nd

43 May 24 Comment Interesting. I have thought about converting a camera to Infrared. I looked up Wabi-Sabi and this would seem to be a good example. To me it looks more like a figure, is draped in someone's arms. Reminds me of many years ago when my family and I went to Tucson. My older son at the time, 4 or 5, thought the Saguaro was a giant pickle. Great cacti for the imagination and if I remember only in the Arizona desert. Not positive though. May 20th
43 May 24 Comment Nice image of an historic Mill. The placement of the house and foreground are good. It is nice as it is, but to identify it as a mill an angle with the water wheel I would imagine it has, would be good. Not sure what I think about the trees. They set almost a sinister hovering mood about the structure and tell us about the season.. May 20th
43 May 24 Comment Great catch and the day was definitely not wasted. The insect is ostly sharp and background soft. My only thought was to crop the insect more and possibly have him move from left to right. Nice Macro. May 20th
43 May 24 Comment The light is exceptional and golden.The foreground almost looks like a path to the iceberg. The left iceberg and shaded back iceberg seeem somehow balanced. The reflections of both add to the shot. It is difficult to tell if there is more detail in the top of he Iceberg but it may be nice to bring out any texture if it is there. It is a wonderful picture of a very interesting spot . May 11th
