Thank You Lane. I am not sure if you mean gold on the ground or in the sky ? |

Bruce, I agree with you on the skys. The one I just put up is a previous image which has the same foreground. it will easy to swtch the skys. I may actually print this one. This is fun. Also, shame Linda left. |

Thanks for the feedback Bruce. Now that I recall the editing of the image, the brown grass did appeal to me. I may have unconciously found it appealing because the Fall like dieing or resting grass is in keeping with the mood of a Cemetary. I don't necessarily THINK when adjusting color. Interesting
Good catch of the road color also. |

Thanks Mark. The flag is Ai generated. I worked on the photo after, with Layers and Opacity. That messed up the flag.
I will have to try the history brush. |

tried history brush but I do not think I saved it correctly in this rendition. I saved it along the way and was able to alter it. I think the green has it. Hopefully I did not oversaturate. Thanks Mark. |

Wonderful Cedar Waxwing. A perfect introduction of the bird for me. Focus, pose, colors all wonderful. such a beautiful bird, I get carried away with generative fill. I thought parts of the tree and branch were distracting so I altered them. Great shot Bruce. |

This does look relaxing. It looks almost abstract. I tried some things to show less distraction from the upper portion and angled it to present more motion. Curious what you think. |

Thank you Mark for your input. I actually think the grass is greener but when I reddened the color for the light from the orange in the new sky,it came out brown. Unfortunately the trees do not depict fall colors. Maybe to rework. |

Mark, I find myself coming back to this often to try to understand what it is. A perfect abstraction, I notice something more each time. I think it was certainly worth the time and complexity of the shot. There seems to be movement and mystery. I asked my wife if it did anything for her and she said no. That means it is an excellent abstraction! |

Great action shot. Even the motion of the fire retardant moving toward the burning tree and probably the fire behind it. Not sure how moving rotors would improve the shot, but not having a tripod in an active fire sequestration scene is understandable, and the firefighters are frozen in time. How did you think of standing in the right place at the right time ? |

I too love the photograph, my only concern to possibly make it even better is the following consideration. With the boat in front, and in a position to be the possible subject, the exquisite skyline draws the eye away. I get confused about the subject, although they say in landscapes you may not need a subject. I tried various ways to focus attention on that fine vessel. Tried cropping, but the boat size seems to be a well thought out asset. I did try one last adjustment. I darkened the skyline and used a gradient from the sun in the sky to the boat foreground to move light focus to the boat. Curious what you think. I do agree with Andrew that it would be excellent the way it is, but thought I would offer another perspective, |
