Great image Bruce, The head and eye are also perfectly framed by the wing. I think the reflection is just right because it shows movement in the water and thus of the bird. Another great shot. Thanks Mark for the concept of Gravity of which I was unaware. |

Beautiful shot, Blacks and Whites and shading Mark. The sky and water are almost like Hi Key, I think, which makes the house truly stand out. Truly artistic. |

I agree with Linda and Bruce. The reflection is good for the format and the symmetry is impressive with the subject still being on the boy. Very Nice shot. |

I agree with all great capture remarks, but as the others, if you do not have a camera that takes 20-30 FPS It would be hard to get a clear shot. I played with it but do not think it is able to separate the rescued parties from the blade. You could probably take out the blade but then you would have to explain how it is still flying. Mark's Idea also might have worked. Non the less, it is a great shot for photojournalism. |

I can see what you both are getting at but I tried to lead the eye down the roofs to the lake so you can see the beautiful an strategic view. I thought showing the tower may lead the other direction although if I want to lead the eye it should probably be from left to right which would probably be best accomplished by flipping it horizontally. That would of course disorient the image. Think I will play with it. Thank you Leo. |
