43 Jan 22 Comment Thank You Linda Jan 28th
43 Jan 22 Reply I agree, the fist makes it. Jan 17th
43 Jan 22 Reply I did it with New layer with objects only and drop shadow and inner shadow. I did not get to transform which makes it more realistic, but hope to use the 3D function in the future. Jan 17th
43 Jan 22 Reply Changed the name Jan 17th
43 Jan 22 Reply I found the shadow directions using and manipulating layer style after isolating the objects. In photoshop CC it seems there is a 3D function ut I am in the process of setting up a new computer after 11 years with this one, that meets criteria for this function. To make the shadow better you can also use transform functions on the shadows. Jan 17th
43 Jan 22 Reply Hi Bruce. I forget how to make shadows but recall it is not that difficult with photoshop. Youtube will have it. The color does still seem a little bright to me, but it is individual taste. I think this is a tad darker. Using a gradient seems good, but it still needs shadows.

43 Jan 22 Reply Also, Andrew, can you tell me which you prefer. Thanks.

43 Jan 22 Reply Mark, can you let me know which you prefer. Thanks.

43 Jan 22 Reply I am not sure if you used Karen due to me not showing the horns. If so I found this."Do female Highland cows have horns? Yes, but the horns of males and females do differ slightly. The male's horns are shorter, thicker and only curve upwards a little. While the female's horns are longer, thinner and curve upwards more". Mark and you suggested the other eye be included, all of my shots and most on the internet, look like the attached. You cannot make it out but for the hair. Curious if the symmetry is preferable ? 43 Jan 22 Reply Thanks. I did a quick edit just as a suggestion. I copied the wheel from the rear after eliminating the cone. I then cloned to fill in the wheel space. You can see where I copied the piece in. I tried, however, to move the cone elsewhere but could not find a good location. I simply used the creative fill for the sign. I was also torn between removing or leaving the sign, which seems to indicate it is Government land, as Andrew mentioned. It just seemed to detract too much.

43 Jan 22 Reply Nice also. Jan 15th
43 Jan 22 Reply Best I could do is the same in all photos I have. Online 99% of the Highland Cattle have one eye covered. Jan 15th

43 Jan 22 Reply Thank you . Jan 15th
43 Jan 22 Reply Thank you Leo. I do not think any of the herd even had their tongues out though. Very stoic cattle. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Reply Thank you Mark. I checked all my photos of these beasts, but one eye was always hidden. When I centered it, I did not find the symmetry made a better photo. As a general rule, I like to have both eyes and have them sharp. In this case I did not try to fix the other eye because the asymmetry of the hair lent itself to have my eye go back and forth from the one eye and back to the nose. It just seemed more interesting to me. Thanks again.

43 Jan 22 Comment Nice color, shapes and movement. I am a little confused as to whether there is a fpcos or subject. I made a quick edit to hopefully have the cave like area pointed to and framed as the subject. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment Before reading other comments I also thought the line could be longer, the different ethnicities in line adds a nice touch. The little girl looking one is priceless. I do like the woman facing the other way because it makes one think there are very few people coming out in a rush and increases the sense of urgency. I do not think I have ever reedited your landscapes, and a former member of the original group was incensed when I did altered his original. Let me know what you think. I think it is a great human study. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment Very pretty and nostalgic. You seem to being doing well on this still life. Nice job. Not sure what I would do with the film, I can see why you had to fiddle with it. I agree with Mark that the white background attracts too much, but black blends into the Camera too much, me thinks. It is a color photo, why not take out the color wheel and find some complimentary color. I like this Image Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment BEAUTIFUL color, rich, great spiral and leading line. It also has a quality of an infinity shot. There are contrasting colors that also lead. I see what Bruce is saying about framing for competition. Great, Neat, complex Shot!!! Jan 14th

43 Jan 22 Comment In a perfect world I agree with the two above in addition to moving the cone, but you caught the essence and feeling of action and movement. The white sign is most distracting. Hope you do not mind but I tried some quick editing. Wonder what you think. Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Comment Great format and action shot. I was not drawn to the propellers until I read the other comments. It is not so prominent to me but propeller action may add. If you slow it down you may not see the lines and angles In the fire suppressant drop. I wonder if bout could be maintained with a different speed. Great capture! Jan 14th
43 Jan 22 Reply I will try those. Thank you Lane. Jan 10th
