43 Nov 21 Reply I was saying I think it adds. Nov 10th
43 Nov 21 Comment I like the array of colors and crispness of the image. My eyes also go back and forth from the bud in back to the front flower and bee. I linger on the bee and then move on to the back bud which is the best focus then back to the bee. The initial view is striking but as I look at it with a wandering eye, I like it more. The bottom flower and bee colors seem pleasing. I think that because of the softness of the flower and bee, the colors are primarily what attracts me. In order to find out why, I looked on the color wheel. The colors are analogous,I believe, which I read, are warm and pleasing in effect when together, rather than Complementary colors. Very lovely image Bruce. Nov 10th
43 Nov 21 Comment Creativity (+). I think you got it all. Color, Images, a clean clear and beautiful still life. Wonderful Linda! You cleaned up and fixed the original image beautifully. Nov 10th
43 Nov 21 Comment I agree that the colors are very nice. I also agree with Bruce about the waterway leading into the picture, which in this case seems essential, because at first the image seemed cluttered. As I look down the waterway, and at the details and colors of the way the structures and boats are arranged, I too start to imagine what it would be like too live there. The image draws you into this other world. I imagine many stories. Good shot. Nov 10th
43 Nov 21 Comment I think it is wonderful also. Knowing the story makes it even more striking. I like the high saturation making it pop. It borders on being abstract. I start to see patterns of a spider web as I look longer. I agree with Bruce that my eye is drawn in by the unfocussed stem. Unusual and creative as usual. Nov 10th
43 Nov 21 Comment Great shot. I cannot think of much to say other than what has already been said. Agree with Linda about foreground, if it is there. I took some recent cemetery photos at the Navy Base but none captures the mood like this one. Happy Halloween.

43 Nov 21 Reply Thanks Bruce. I did want to start putting some of the photos out there. With winter approaching in the Chicago area, I may not have much time, unless I go out of town. I do think now that maybe I overdid the Topaz adjustments.

43 Nov 21 Reply I agree that more walkway into the path would make it alot better. I need to practicing composing, on the fly. Thanks
