Beautiful. Eyes and beak both sharp with a glint in his eye. Linda's edit does bring more attention directly to the subject. I loved the Skunk Cabbage trio also although I think previously I commented on it calling it the wrong name. |

Beautiful. - shadows, Shapes textures and symmetry. Not sure about Linda's edit, I takes out the added fold textures and shadows, which I think adds to the geometry. Just the way it looks to me. |

Beautiful, soft and an all around beautiful shot. seems to be made for IR. The trees' bending and reaching angle is also beautiful. |

Wow, what a great image. In the first my eye goes from the bird and back and forth to the leaves. I actually like when my eye goes back and forth following the action. The second does draws my attention directly to the bird. I think both images just render a different effect. Great catch. Is your lens the first or second edition. I have the first and usually get very good results and wonder which you used because it is a fine photo. |

As before I agree with the comments. The DOF is good getting the hot spots out and cropping as Linda did. Only drawback is that the front is somewhat pixilated, but although I have not used the Topaz or Photoshop new software to increase pixels and sharpen, itr sounds like it would clear the magnified image. |

Cannot believe how steady it is but with the lens at 24 mm that is also a factor into the steadiness. Nice order and symmetry and leading lines. I do agree with all the above and would like it shot from higher up. Removing the cars would be good but difficult to do well. Very nice view. |
