Hi and thank you. I never thought this would get the attention it has gotten, it is such a different style for me. I liked it and glad others do also. |

I must say, I agree with all the above. The texture and colors of the pots, distraction of the center embroidery. Bringing the pots closer. The reds and blues being almost opposite sides of the color wheel does create a somewhat harsh distracting contrast between the cloth and pots. I think this still life would do well with the shapes and designs on the pots ,because their texture makes the colors and shapes more pleasant to look at. I would think a cloth that was more of a neutral color, would be less distracting. Looking forward to more still lifes Mark |

I agree with Leaving out the brown branch and like the placement, and sharpness of the crop by Linda.I do not think a frame of reference is necessary. It may be more abstract , in a way without it, but it retains wonderful form texture color and contrast which is what makes this macro image so good. |

Nice editing and isolation of the pair. I also do feel that there is not enough distinction of color or texture between the ducks and background. The eyes are very nice especially in the female. It may be sexist but I wish the female mallard had its head higher. |

LOve the photo. I am drawn to the subject which seems well placed. The shading in the background is colorful with great shading and not distracting. The shapes and smoothness of the background is something I like. I would not think more detail there is important. I also am someone who likes some high saturation which adds to the contrasting curves.I do agree that the Camel could be darker. Wonderful shot. |

I too love this photo. The black and white ,symmetry, shades of grey gives the commensurate dismal feelings, as I see the story. Even the black dead or dormant trees in the photo. I cannot help think of these pandemic times. |
