I noticed the newer Lightroom offers texture as does my Luminar. My lightroom 4.4 does not. Not sure of the differences specifically with Clarity. |

Interesting. Not sure How you did it. Not sure what I think. Cannot see the spiky stem as well. Thanks. |

It's good to see the outdoors and the beach and of course the bird. It all looks good to me but not being much of a birder, mine never look this good. I usually see birders' photos on small iphone screens, so I am not sure about the bird shading and detail at the rear, but it sounds good. In daylight it has always been impossible for me to not have some whites blown on birds. I think a bit of dark vignetting would frame the bird and maybe solve sky problems. |

I agree with all the above and wonder if a fill flash would allow us to see more of the character in the character's faces. With a 5.6 aperture though, you would probably either have to sacrifice the sharpness of the walls and arch and background or the faces. A neat story. |

I agree with most everything said. Beautiful and delicate But I also agree about the background stem and flower removal that Linda made. It does improve these distractions from the fine flower and ant. I think the background orange, however, is good because it draws you back and forth over the buds and I tend to see more of the buds, and am drawn back to the Main flower. A great macro also |

I agree with Mark, just what I was going to say.The eye drawn to the sprout, the sharpness and background which is textured and gives a mild contrasting difference with the onion, drawing us to the new growth. Love this too. Maybe being isolated has helped most of us all focus on our close surroundings |

Beautiful Red against blue sky. It seems sharp to me but I think Bruce's suggestion about the middle pod may help. I too love the perspective, and what is most amazing about this photo is how all the other plants naturally go every which way but the focus is clear. Beautiful and striking. |

I too love the focus on the stamen. Wonderful. I like the dreamy colors of white and yellow of the flower. You could use photo stacking on this but it would loose a lot. I think the crop is wonderful as is, and nicely uses the rule of thirds to focus the eye. Even the back light of yellow through the flower draw focus to the stamen. Great macro ! |

Thank you Lane, but I am not sure about what you mean by putting a texture on it. I understand the background suggestion though and will try it. |
