Thank you Mike. I did think it was nice to show that we were observers of this artwork. I thought of it as a story inside a story. |

I like the shades, ominous sky and solitary tree. I may have cropped slightly more. |

Lovely, detailed and very romantic. Color shapes and balance all good. Geoff's impact is clear. |

I look at this as an experience shot where I get into the water and find myself wondering which way to go. My eyes shift all around to figure the best way through, surveying the entire scene. Nice effect. |

I like this alot. The passing subjects are obvious, at least to me, the main subjects. To crop further leaves the context of the location out. I would not change a thing. By the way I am glad that I did not see Viet Nam as probably Mark did. I was lucky, best physical condition of my life, finished medical school, passed the physical and had a low draft number. To my chagrin those were the two weeks when they cancelled the war and the draft. Seeing Viet Nam now brings up all the memories of what I missed. |

I like the composition, images, and whether the artist picked up the aerosole to attract an audience or it was part of the project, it certainly draws my attention to the artist. The image with an iphone is amazing considering the depth of field and f2.2 setting. I wonder if the wide angle allowed you to get that depth of field especially at 1/30 sec. Iphone seems a great choice for close up wide angle. I like the effect alot. |

I agree with all the above. Color, texture and story added after. I like the image to complete the story, and if you could have paid her to move to a cross point of the rule of thirds that it may have been better, but not always possible. |

As I said, the true eerie impact is not as apparent in the HDR image but it does demonstrate the intricacies of the painting. I felt that photographing a piece of art alone would simply be plagiarism, so I added my friend, to as you say, express the feeling of a photographer observing the art. If you think that is strange I wonder what you think of one where I imbedded him in the wall. |
