43 Sep 18 Comment Soft artistic delicate. Very nice shot. Saint ann's lace, to me is the subject from buds to the tall proud plant. I do think a smaller f-stop may improve the lace, if not you could always soften it later. I like the original composition with the blooming flower on left to full grown flower and back to some middle stage of bloom. Sep 16th

43 Sep 18 Comment Agree. It is a winning photo. The black white and greys go well for this shot, and it is hard to tell if it is black and white or natural colors. The eyes are expressive and not as sharp as is often discussed in regards to animals, but I am drawn to the fingers, hand, nails and mouth. These seem to be the focus, which is a nice touch. Sep 16th
43 Sep 18 Comment I just noticed that Mark also noticed the upper branch, after I made a quick change. I agree with the color and sharpness, the pretty greens, blues and yellows being a very nice mix. Very pretty and directive. Sep 16th
43 Sep 18 Comment I find it delicate and beautiful and sharp also. I think the progression from sharp to the patterns in the background is good in the photo. All I could think of is to somehow darken the background, that way the front subject may be brighter and stand out more. Good eye. Sep 16th

43 Sep 18 Reply It would probably improve the artistic effect, so I did a quick rendition. Used a mask, Gaussian blur and gradient tool. Resolution not good enough, but a good idea. Sep 16th
