I agree with the above. The colors and composition are very beautiful. Looks like a painting. The background trees are a little too much in focus for my taste. I would prefer less DOF. With F18, everything is in focus. It is always easy to talk in retrospect, but a larger F stop may have blurred the trees somewhat. More post processing could achieve some of the effect, but not sure if it would add to this already beautiful image. |

I too think composition, DOF and composition is excellent. I think the location of the peaks are great. I was looking to see if recomposing the horizon would be beneficial, but no. It is framed as it should be. Cloudy days are great for photos, and you seem to have made the best of it. |

I also think the composition framing and exposure is very good I do agree with Linda, about the foreground. I also think I would lighten the intensity of the sky. The line around the bottom, a natural gap or river bed can be a focus. Again I am thinking some vignetting to draw the eye down. |

Focus and lines great, color right on. The top of the flowering plant is somewhat out of focus. The right plant is probably unnecessary or could be blurred into looking like background. I think a dark vignette would take care of the top of the flowering plant and focus on the main subject. Just a suggestion. |

I agree with above. Love the focus and composition. The main object is clear and tells a story. I wonder if there would be more focus on the woman if the window view were darkened without losing the fact that it is daytime. |

Thanks. You got it. The photos of the canyon alone were boring. I included the tree in to draw you in and go between the tree and canyon. I do over-sharpen at times, but it looks good on a print and got an HM at a competition. I used smart sharpen rather than unsharpen mask.
Thank You Again for noticing what I intended, for better or worse. |
