It seems I missed commenting on this shot. Just noticed. I have not shot fireworks yet so the difficulty of this shot is not clear to me. It seems simple and clean. Not as exciting as I would imagine it could have been in person. Dead middle composition does not seem that interesting. You got a nice stop action though. Next series should be interesting to see. |

I also prefer and like Original 2. It is sharper with various tones of white. The final looks like detail is lost in the Whites. I love the way you got the bottom two ed parts of the flower sharp and with the center also in focus. It contrasts nicely against the yellow. Very pretty and delicate.

Like the mood and composition. I was bothered by the light pole vertical dead center. I agree with Mark and think the haze and clouds look better in black and white. I couldn't think of how to recompose this like Mark did, but with it cropped, the tension produced by the pole in the middle cutting the photo in half is gone. Looks great. |

I also agree with all the above, the reflections and the skyline curve leading to its peak at the high tower. Very good landscape. B & W and Sepia have different appeal. Not sure if I like one better than the other. May be nice to put them next to each other in frames or in a collage, to depict the different moods. |

Beautiful catch. Excellent composition and color. I notice the line now also, and margins around the creature, blurry in some sections and sharp others. My guess is these are easy to fix on the original shot. A little editing and you can proudly hang it on the wall. |

I love this too. I can feel the mood and feel like I am in the story. The house leaves you wondering if it would be shelter or just blown away. The downed fence shows the possible force of the wind or past similar winds. This shot peeks the imagination. I agree with all the above technical aspects also. Wonderful. |

Thank you. I guess I left it to match the other shadow, which is of her. Taking it out cleans it up nicely. |
