I agree with above. Mark and Mike's adjustments do lead to the subject. Mikes final adjust, darkening everything but the forward tree almost looks like a spiritual experience. You provided a lot to work with in the original catch. It conjures up thoughts of the biblical burning bush. Maybe I am reading too much into the striking finale. |

I am not sure what happened. I thought I commented when it was first posted. I tried to say that you underrate your capacity for abstraction. I may not have hit enter. I truly enjoy this photo. I do not know how you got the page turn, or if it actually was a turning of pages. The left lower sun irritates a little, but is quickly soothed by the sun in the upper right. I find myself moving back and forth as I move over the rainbow of colors. Striking. |

Thanks all. It was fun at VooDoo Larry's and playing with the image. This place set a mood. Women barbers were giving mohawk haircuts to men and women in the garage. |

Great photo with symmetry, leading lines and almost an infinity shot. A mural on the wall for sure. I may change one thing. I would put in 2/3 sky and one third water, or visa versa, probably the later, to follow some concrete rules of composition. The symmetry of horizontal and vertical certainly has it's merits. |

I to think less sun. Wonderful evening walk into the sea.The adjustments seem to impart a mood of late evening, waves and upcoming waves that could be ROUGH, or perilous, but the figure does not seem to be reactive.. Makes you think. Great |

Wonderful image to start with. Certainly tells a story. I agree with all the comments and Mark's mild tweak. The left arm has some possible sections on the upper parts of his arm that could be burned in. It may differ with monitors. His personage leads to many hypotheses. It leaves you wondering. Pulls you in. |
