Having seen the Lipizzaner Horses perform, your write-up took me back to the time I as there so the Pegasus meant more than just a statue of a flying horse. There is so much in the scene that are distractions from the horse. My only suggestion (which may not be possible) is to select just the horse and slightly darken all the surrounding area. That would emphasize the horse without everything else competing for attention. |

As a "railroad nut" anything about a train or tracks appeals to me. Showing the underside of a trestle displays the workmanship that goes into building a structure that will hold a multi ton train overhead. I like the original with the different colors better than the final presentation as there is a bit more interest not only in the structure but the surrounding vegetation. |

The more I looked at the image the more I wanted to eliminate the sky. For me, it just doesn't fit the scene as the colors are too bold for the lushness of the foliage. The most interesting aspect of the scene is at the bottom with some of the path and foliage on either side as there are some bare branches as well as leaf covered ones so the variety makes the scene more appealing. |
