At first look I wasn't sure if I liked it or not but a second and third "hooked" me as I like the closeup of the plant. The interweaving of them is so interesting. My suggestion is to crop off all the "stuff" at the top so it is just the horsetails. Maybe add a bit more contrast so they are strong enough to stand by themselves. |

When the Blue Angels come to San Francisco the news photographers always get them in an interesting scene with a local landmark in the picture such as the Golden Gate Bridge or SF buildings behind. However, just getting your shot was very good timing as the planes fly so fast it is difficult to follow them. |

That old shack has a lot of interest but the white foliage is so vast that it diverts the attention away from the building. Severe cropping of it would then make the building stand out, which is important as it is the central element of the scene. |

For me the beauty of this image are the trees on the mountain. They look like a rug laid over an uneven surface. Much of the foreground foliage could easily be cropped to draw attention to those trees. |
