I envy you being there. I was planning on attending the conference (all the side trips were appealing) but couldn't due to my wife's health issues. I've been told that Garden of the Gods is a wonderful place to visit. Hope to see more images from you. The scene is spectacular and other than too much foreground, it stands out. Your conversion from the original was done well. |

This is a good picture of the building as the foliage sets it off well. (Since it is home to a garden club, I would guess that it should.) Lots of nice detail throughout all the plants. Well done. |

I like the concept but don't care for the sky as it detracts from the repetition of the rows and the farm equipment. Just leaving it as it is on the original would be fine. The piece of farm equipment (whatever it is) in the foreground is the stabilizing force that holds the picture together. |

What makes the picture appealing is that the two branches that stick above the rest have different light on them. The one on the left is mostly in shade while the one on the right has a lot of sun. The little cloud between the two adds interest to an otherwise blank sky. My only suggestion is toning down that bright foliage on the right. Cropping it out would remove some branches that need to be kept but a careful burning will keep it from being a distraction. |
