This is very interesting and you went into enough detail about what is going on that the picture is far more fascinating than just looking at the image. You are fortunate in living where you are so you can watch the launches into space. As far as the picture, the composition is great as Artemus stands against a break in the clouds. Some of the foreground and left side can be eliminated but that other tower on the right is important so keep it. |

It's a good record shot of the town which is quite photogenic. I had fun isolating small areas such as cropping the bottom to eliminate the people and the left to eliminate the building with the archway. What's left are the variety of store fronts and the castle on the hill. Just the pattern of the upper stories of the buildings makes for something of interest. |

This is a classic IR image with beautiful trees flanking the building and a few clouds in the sky. I wanted to see the base of the building but then saw the cars in the original image. Not much one can do. In experimenting with cropping I cropped everything below the arch so what is left is the imposing tower. What do you think? |

The falls are certainly the main interest in this scene. While the surrounding foliage acts as a perfect frame for the falls, I feel that there is too much of it and cropping a lot off the left, a little off the top and a little off the right then toning it all down so the white of the foliage is not the same as the white of the water. Your idea is good and is worth experimenting with. |

I'm from the old school that says that a picture needs a center of interest to draw the viewer into it. And that is what I instinctively look for when looking at a picture. Sure, there are exceptions. If the foliage had a pattern to look at it would be more interesting. Sorry to be negative as I'm sure the image has meaning for you which is why you photographed it. |
