It is quite a scene and interesting with the different types of foliage surrounding the waterfall. I do like the blue water as it sets it off from everything else. Cropping some of the stark white foliage on the right might take the viewer to the water as otherwise the white draws attention. If after cropping there is still too much white, increase the vignetting so the edges are darker. |

What an interesting plant. Your conversion from IR had good results as it is more interesting with the color rendition than a black and white image. Since the focus is on the plant why not crop the right side to match the left. If there is still some of the opening at the top after the cropping, burn it so it is not white. |

This is a case for having information about the subject available. Your picture is a good record and catching it in a dive gives the viewer a sense of movement. |

I can easily see why you took this image. The idea is good but there is too much in the scene which destroys the beauty of the central subject. But I can't suggest any way to avoid all the surrounding trees. A different approach that might work is to aim the camera up and not try to capture the entire trees but just the tops where there aren't other trees to infringe on the scene. In this scene the tops would stand out against the black sky. |

The Stanford campus is "loaded" with unusual sculptures and other art. They are interesting to look at but nothing that I would pay to see. The story about the spheres is that the artist actually rolled marbles and then placed the spheres where the marbles stopped rolling.
The university does publish a brochure showing the location of all the art so people can wander around the campus. |
