I actually like Number 2 with the full frontal display of the stripes on the head. Your side view does show the coloring but there is a strong feeling with the eyes looking directly at the camera. Seeing the whiskers up close rally makes them stand out. The conversion was done well. |

The clouds don't bother me as much as not seeing the base of the cathedral. Too bad the panoramic didn't work out. It is a very impressive structure and you do show the intricate detail throughout. |

This does have a beautiful curve but I am wondering what made the sidewalk change color abruptly? In the foreground it is black then suddenly turns white. There is a lot to see in the scene as the eye "goes down the path." Near the top left corner, the black area is no doubt the blue sky rendered totally black by the IR. If you could lighten it - dodge it or even move a small cloud into the spot - it would not be as blatant. |

It is quite a scene with the different size sea stacks but for me a straight conversion would make an impressive print. I don't feel that the texture adds to the overall scene as it distorts everything and creates some confusion. Since I rarely use textures all I can suggest is to try others that are a little less vivid. |

Without your information about the tree it would be a "ho hum" image but it is interesting due to it being so unusual. As a subject, it appears it is one of many so it was probably difficult to separate one from the surrounding trees. Also, within the tree there is a lot of light and shadows so it is a bit confusing. However from an IR standpoint I liek your conversion from the original as the blue sky gives the scene a somewhat normal appearance. |
