Congratulations - it is a great image and the changes you made did make a huge difference. Personally I am not excited about the subject matter but the way you handled it by showing more of the tree cover made it more appealing. |

The shape of the subject and the bright color gives it a terrific impact. The orange colored sky can be interpreted as the fire from the dragon's breath! Doing panoramics is a different way of seeing. It was covered in a recent lecture (webinar) showing a panoramic - both horizontal and vertical -can be done with a cell phone camera. You did a fine job with this one. |

It pays to look down! The composition is excellant with the large leaves covering the shadow on the wood. The leaves in the background fill what would have been a large empty space. Because they are a different size they don't compete with each other but rather compliment the texture of the wood. It was a good conversion to b/w too. |
