I don't know what I'm looking at but it is interesting, especially with that snake like object poking thru the mass. It is an unusual scene and how you got there seems to work. I only wish that the left edge was not cut off, but this is minor. |

If the main subject is the tree, then I wish you had shown more of it than just the overhanging limb. Since there is beauty in what you did show showing more would no doubt make for a very pleasant scene. |

The infrared nicely separates the ferns and ivy from the darker backgrounds so we have a good presentation and they are beautiful. The other leaves (are they ivy) adds to the arrangement so you do have a very good presentation. |

Sorry to say but that sailboat doesn't "fit" in the scene and I don't know any way to take it out. The windmill is wonderful and the canal is a perfect lead in to it. Everything you did to emphasize the windmill works. It's just the the boat is too dominate and blocks the view to the windmill. If that wasn't bad enough, the poles and wires on the other side of the canal should be removed. Easy to say but not easy to do! |

I like the building and would have stopped to photograph it. And what you did to produce the image worked. Since the theme of the exhibition is Olden this just might fit it - it would if I was judging. The only way to find out if the judges like it is to go ahead and give it a try. |
