The bananas have so much bright area surrounding them that they don't stand out as I feel they should. Perhaps a tighter cropping and toning down the bright area would show them better. |

I agree with Julie as the table, chair and umbrella make for a nice composition without the upper windows in the scene. I have to disagree on the blue toning as for me this blue is a colder tone and uninviting. A sepia or a warmer tonality would appeal to me more. |

I agree that it is different but for me so different that I have no idea what it is that you photographed. I feel there should be something recognizable to bring the viewer into the scene. |

I do like what you did in the conversion process. My only suggestions are to either crop or eliminate the pine branches in the lower left corner and darken both the upper right corner as well as the lower right corner. |

Your color concept is fine but I find that the yellow grasses in the foreground dominate the scene and detract from what I feel is the important aspect - the windmill. Perhaps cropping enough to turn it into a horizontal presentation would keep enough of the grasses but emphasize the windmill. |

I get two reactions from this image, one is the feeling of coldness because of the snow the other is a place of beauty. I just want to be there. The composition is wonderful as one element does not dominate over the others and even though they are separate, all seem to work together. The tree on the right, next to the bridge, breaks up the starkness of the bridge. Then the bench on the other side of the bridge beckons the viewer "sit a while and enjoy the view." All in all. you did great job in converting from IR to a b/w picture. |
