The more that I look at the original he more I find the colors too strong. I like your change and will see if I can do it on another color image. I appreciate your comments (as well as those from others in the group.) |

Thanks, I still have a long way to go to get the colors that I want. |

You took a scene that to me had little appeal and made a beautiful picture. All the very different elements come together through the soft coloring. I like the Morning Mist look. |

WOW - what a sky! It is so different from the pastoral feeling that the fence and tree create but it surely makes the entire scene jump out. I do like the simplicity of the fence and tree and they could stand alone. But that sky! One reason why I am drawn to the scene is the conflict between the "soft and sweet" foreground and the "angry" clouds. |

A fisheye lens is probably fun to use as it covers such an expanse of area. It can be a detriment, however, if there are objects in the scene that don't relate to the subject being photographed. As I look at your picture I feel everything is sliding off to the left (or does the lens accentuate the slope of the hill?) |

Bridges are a great subject for photography and this suspension bridge has a lot of structure to show. Your angle for taking this one shows almost too much and is overwhelming. If it is convenient, photograph it from various angles to show more of the bridge. Some bridges, like the Golden Gate Bridge look very imposing when the picture is taken from a distance. |

The phone booth alone would not hold the interest but having the light next to it gives the viewer two very different things to look at. What I'd like to see is more space around them, unless of course it is not open space. You did a good job in making the booth red. |

Using such a short focal lens enables you to take a really different approach to a scene and I like what your did. The three trees are certainly beautiful, especially the one in the foreground and they all make the building secondary. The building is important as it adds a completely different element to the overall scene. Unfortunately I feel the trees are leaning to the left or is it because the house is on a hill. Probably if you "straightened" the trees the house would be on a slant! The patch of blue sky keeps puling me out of the scene so wondered if you cropped most of it out. The tree on the left has been cropped and is fine. |
