This is a very impressive picture as the dock itself is an interesting structure. It is surrounded by foliage, clouds and water all of which provide a good framing device to make the dock stand out. Your use of CLiR results in very pleasant colors. |

I would have guessed that this was taken on a cold winter's day! In addition to being impressed with how you arrived at the final image, I also like the composition as the trees that flank the memorial help to set it off with the shorter tree on the left and the taller trees on the right The structure is nicely nestled between and forms an progression from short to tall as I look from left to right. |

I like everything about this from the composition to the yellow grasses and leaves. It is well composed and presented well and would be a beautiful and inspiring picture hanging on a wall. |

The straight-on shot works well as the eye goes through the gate and to the front door. (A solid gate would stop the eye from easily going to the house.) The house is nicely balanced with the barns on the left and the wooded hillside on the right, none of which competes with the house. It is a very pleasing composition as your colors are subdued enough that they do not take attention away from the building which an overly intense color would. |

The concept is good with one bud opened, another about to open and the third still closed. Since the interest is the three buds, some of the bottom could be cropped as there isn't enough there to hold the interest. |
