Rather than reversing the original it before entering it, I left it flipped.

35 Nov 19 Comment A very nice scene. The ripples in the water distort the trees so they aren't a mirror reflection. I particularly like the white tree on the left as it compliments the larger dark trees. You did a good job in the conversioiin from IR to B/W. Nov 13th
35 Nov 19 Comment I will readily admit that while working on CLIR the author raved about the colors the process produced. I disagreed as they were so unreal that they turned me off to the process until I found I didn't have to produce the garish extremes. That being said I like the composition of your scene but not the colors of the trees and the hillside. You have shown many soft pastels that make looking at the scene a pleasant experience. Nov 13th
35 Nov 19 Comment The tree lends itself perfectly to IR as there is a definite difference between the foliage and the tree limbs. Enough of the limbs are shown so the eye can take several "paths" to see the leaves. Having some light clouds in the sky breaks up the otherwise blank area so the entire arrangement is quite enjoyable. Your conversion from IR to B/W was very good. Nov 13th
35 Nov 19 Comment I lived through a hurricane many years ago and it was scary as there was nothing one can do to avoid it. Your picture vividly brings out the devastation that mother nature can cause. I saw the results on the news but your image and description makes it more real. Fortunately no lives were lost. Nov 13th
35 Nov 19 Comment I recently learned of a group that after Halloween builds catapults (like what you showed) and compete to see which can throw a pumpkin the furthest! I've never seen it but it would be quite exciting to watch - and quite messy. Anyway, your image for me is more historically interesting than a pictorial scene. I've read about them but never seen a real one so I can appreciate your picture. Nov 13th
35 Nov 19 Comment This is absolutely beautiful and extremely tranquil. I like the composition with the little stream leading the eye into the scene to not only enjoy the trees in the foreground but also those in the background. The color tonality really makes it as the soft colors are very pleasing and compliment all the trees. Nov 13th
