The composition is one horizontal row on top of another from the bottom to the top. Each one is interesting so I'm not being negative with my comment. The foliage in each row is different so there is a lot to look at. You could take much of the top open space off as there isn't enough there to warrant so much sky. |

I agree with your assessment of the CLIR Panel. However, you were successful with this one as the color of the statue and bench separates it nicely from the foliage. I do like the tone that you achieved so there is some success with CLIR.

This one is very simple but very effective as there is so much to examine on each post and the wires that go off in different directions. The wire loop at the top tells a different story as its purpose is to hold the right post to the left as it is probably part of a gate to the pasture. Open the gate by lifting the loop off the post. Nice printing as it brought out the detail in all the wood. |

The cropping does emphasize the church far more than the original image. Yet that building in the lower right dominates and competes with the church for attention I don't see how you can minimize it. It is too bad you can't find a better angle as the church is worthy of having its picture taken. |

Joshua Tree certainly has a lot of interesting objects to photograph. I like this image as the rock formation is interesting and the sky is a nice compliment to what is on the ground. I just wish there was better separation between the tree and the rock. All else works with the foliage in the lower corners and barren ground around the base of the tree. |
