I have to admit that I have never used Lightroom even thought I have it as part of the CC program. I did try it for a panorama and liked the results but still rather go through Bridge and into Photoshop. Maybe I shold be bold and try to use it more often! |

I'm not sure about the infrared treatment of the scene. The children are photogenic but they look like they don't like the pose position. The background is disturbing so suggest darkening it would make the foliage less imposing. |

Bracketing really does wonders! It brings out the detail in every part of the scene, light or dark. The house adds to the scene but toning down the white area a bit would make it more subdued so the attention goes to the bridge and reflection. I do like the plants in the foreground as they are sharp and provide an interest to the overall scene. |

There are three leading lines all leading up, the steps and shrubs on either side. In this case a person, statue, sculpture or something at the top of the steps would provide a strong center on interest. The scene is a pleasant one but needs something to pull the eye in. |

One of the facets about driving through Monument Valley is that you can stop any place and take pictures. I agree that clouds would add to the scene and there are ways to add them. Your composition of the two mittens and other formation and the plant in the immediate foreground make for an interesting composition. My one suggestion is to bring out some detail in those formations that are washed out. |

The trees are certainly majestic and absolutely beautiful. At first I didn't like the house as I wondered if it is the main interest or are the trees the most important. I came to the conclusion that they work well together. The trees grab my interest immediately and then looking beyond them I see the house so there are two areas of interest each supporting the other. |

Eight mile walk! Now with both my wife and me not able to do much walking it almost hurts to think about it. Nevertheless, your destination was worth it. Even though there are a lot of different elements in the scene I feel that they all work together and complement each other. I'm not big on borders but in this case it echoes the antiquity of the old mill and waterfall. |
