Thanks, I do agree as when I looked at it after I sent it, it did appear much much to dark. It was the first time using the IR presets in Luminar and I did like what they did to my picture. I'll be more selective the next round! |

The 15 mm lens certainly covered a lot of space and in my mind perhaps too much. There is a sameness throughout which is broken up by the walk, fence, and the structure beyond the fence. I keep wondering if you had stepped to your left so the structure was in the opened gate then the viewer could see all of it. It is an important part of the picture and a "destination" for the eye but the fence blocks seeing so much of it. |

Is the hut an outhouse (or outdoor loo)? Whatever it is its very interesting and how you presented it work out well. I especially like the surroundings and fog like setting the woods. It made me think of Hansel and Gretel and the evil witches' house in the forest! I like Topaz software and find their Clarity and BW Effects really enhance an image. What you used from their Impression worked extremely well. |

There is so much that I like in the scene, the lighting on the trees, the stairway, the curve rock wall and the nicely tired slope.but something is missing. You wrote about a water fountain but I don't see it and that may be the element that I need to "complete" the composition. Never the less your conversion from IR to B/W was really quite good. |

This is a nicely done picture with the careful removal of wires etc. I especially like the mottled lighting on the lawn so it isn't the typical IR bright white. Since there is the Pottery sign on the building it is obvious that it is a business. With this in mind I feel that having a person in the scene would add to the composition. It is rare that when I look at the IR pictures in our circuit that I suggest the addition of the human element but for a reason that I can't really explain a figure would change the static image of the building to one that has vibrancy. And I will readily admit that most of my photography is by myself or the person (wife) with me doesn't want to pose. |
