I like pictures of trees and if this was in a competition and I was judging, it would get a very high ranking. It is the simplicity that is appealing as the height of the tall trees on the right angle down and direct the viewer to the smaller fully leafed trees on the left side. The sky condition is perfect as the tall trees stand out against it but there is also a variation in the cloud formation that has an interest, although small, that compliments the tree arrangement. Toning the image makes for a "softer" rendition which I like very much. |

It is an interesting statue and one could study the way "he" is sitting and just what his hands are doing. No doubt there is a reason for looking the way he is portrayed. No wonder that you photographed it. The IR rendition doesn't affect the statue but just the surrounding foliage so it is not an important element of the scene, just quite interesting. |

The woman sitting on the bench is either sleeping with her mouth open or is yawning for want of sleep! She adds a different element to the scene but detracts from the overall scene. If I cropped out the woman on the bench I feel the result is a stronger image as the attention goes to the strollers going into the square in front of the building whose wall is interesting in itself. The tree and leaves form an arch over the overall scene adds to the composition. |

What you did in the IR conversion resulted in a pleasant picture but for me (probably because I don't have any decent knowledge of flowers) there isn't anything that holds my interest. The arch is imposing but the view of the building is obscured by the surrounding trees. As much as I studied the scene it didn't resonate with me. |
