In looking at this scene the tree stump, fallen limb and bush make for a frame for what lies in the distance but in this instance what one sees is not as interesting as the stump. Because of this I'd crop off much of the right and leave some of the fallen limb and make the stump the true center of interest. Your IR conversion did bring out the detail in both the light and dark areas of the stump. |

This is nicely done as each flower has enough detail to separate from the others. I feel that it could use more sky at the top. Also see if you can shoot the flowers in such a way that it doesn't include the building. It is a distraction. |

This was a good day as you had some nice clouds to include in the scene. For me, the hill on the left is so massive that it detracts from the building. If you could have photographed this from an angle instead of straight on than you could have eliminated much of that hill. Cropping some off unfortunately would cut out part of the wall which enhances the building. |

This jumped out when I looked at this image. For me it would quickly hang on my wall with the other memorable pictures! The diagonal that the three trees make is echoed by the long slim cloud (or vapor trail)as well as the clouds on the upper right corner. Also the highlight on the trees further enhances them. Without the clouds it would still be a very good shot but the clouds really add to the beauty. Because of the trees, a straight on shot works better than if you did the building from a different angle. |

For me, the bicycle is out of place as the auto is a "beauty" by itself. There is humor, which actually makes the strong appeal, with the license plate - Go Green. (However, reading that everything in the exhibit would go into land fill then the bike would fit.) The IR sets the car apart from the foliage whereas either color or b/w wouldn't. Your conversion was done well. |
