The couple really alters the scene as without them there is a divided interest, the bridge on the right and the foliage and shapes on the left. How fortunate you were to have them walk across the bridge. My only comment would be to crop the left side to eliminate the structure that appears under the tree. |

This is a classic S Curve and a scene that you put in a lot of effort to achieve a very beautiful image. By including both the small building and a person on the path adds, to me, very important elements to keep this from being just a record shot of the area. |

Fortunately there is a building on the other side of the pond to create an interest point. Otherwise there is a lot (almost too much) foliage. You probably used the two foreground trees to frame the subject but to me, they are too massive. I feel you could achieve the same results even if you cropped off the tree on the right. |

Technically your picture was done well. I have several conflicts when I look at the image. The building looks interesting but so much of it is behind the foliage that I can't enjoy the structure. The path in the foreground doesn't help the scene but leads the eye through and out. Granted the two benches make it more interesting but nevertheless they don't keep the eye in the scene. I cropped the bottom just above the path and also the right edge closer to the building. Doing this I found the upper path leads me to the building as well as playing an important part of the scene. |

This is a really great image and your conversion from color to the final result required numerous steps all of which produced the fine portrait. You couldn't ask for a better pose, almost like the cubs were taught to do it when a photographer was present! I recall seeing a portfolio in a photo magazine where the professional used IR to photograph the animals in Africa. Your picture is equal to what I saw of his and his were exceptional. |

To a "non IR" person, this appears to be a house just after a snowstorm. The house is quite imposing and beautiful in its own right. To me (as a dog lover) the dog adds a bit of life to a static scene and bothersome as he might be, he plays an important part of the composition. Because you were limited in how you could photograph the place, I do like your results. |
