Hi Sylvia, Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm glad the write-up helped highlight the photographer on the ground. It's interesting to hear how the color shot feels more candid to you, while the black-and-white version feels more artistic. I appreciate your feedback on the cropping as well. Thanks again for your insights!

Jim, I find the reflection in your image creating the same pattern quite interesting. It adds a unique twist to the composition. However, personally, I have some reservations about the rough patch on the tree trunk-it gives me a bit of unease compared to the symmetry of the green leaf. Nevertheless, I understand this is a subjective reaction on my part. The concept of turning a single original image of a tree trunk with different types of moss into a mirror image is creative and shows your willingness to experiment outside the box. It's always rewarding to try new techniques and see where they lead. |

Cindy, I found your "After the Storm" image very creative, especially in black and white. The contrast between the billowing storm clouds and the houses nestled between the grass is stunning. It captures a serene yet powerful moment after the storm. |

Sylvia, this is a very lovely image. The pastel pink color of the flower is beautifully captured, and I appreciate how it's off-center to the left, leaving some space to the right. This composition gives the image a balanced and pleasing aesthetic. Overall, it's a very present and elegant photograph. |

Douglas, I really appreciate your capture of the "Highline Ballerina" sculpture. The contrast of the vibrant red roses against the white sculpture and lush green grass adds a striking visual appeal to the image. It's a lovely shot; however, I feel the composition is a bit too tight. I would love to see more of the surrounding environment to provide additional context and enhance the storytelling aspect of your photograph. Overall, it's a beautiful and vibrant image that showcases your keen eye for detail. |
