Hi Rick,
You captured this little girl's genuine expression at the right moment. Her colorful costume and perfect lighting on the right framed her lovely face. Lastly the matching red & white thin borders completed this beautiful portrait!

Hi Billy, Thanks for your input. You're the most observant that you even noticed me removed her tattoo on her right elbow. I had thought about whether to remove the door lock or not, but decided to leave it as a point of reference that she's standing in some neighborhood street corner and also it frames the image. I'm glad you like it. Linda |

Hi Billy, How observant you're! This advertisement right next to this old building is too humorous. Nice image! Linda |

I love this photo with my first glance! It's the simplicity that makes this monotone image stands out. Everything is proportionally balance. The water droplets behind can also be interpreted as twinkle little stars with the reflections of the water. Beautiful image Joan! Linda |

Hi Kristi, This is a creative portrait I really like. Her eyes got my attention. The light from both sides further enhanced her face. I like the vibrancy of the edited image. I feel like to paint her for an oil portrait! Linda |

Hi Jeri, I agree that this is quite an interesting image. I totally agree with Rick to clone out all the distracting lights on the top and also cropped on the right side. You reminded me when I first starting out in photography, whenever I got blurry images especially in fireworks, I called them abstracts. As long as you like them, that's most important! Linda |

I agree that the mailbox should be removed as I had explained to Jeri. Glad you like it and thank you very much for your input Kirsti! |

Majority of my street photography, I may only have a chance for one shot. I'm very pleased how I cropped the image as I took it. I usually like to have my main subject to stand out. Therefore I found the mailbox is somewhat a distraction. However if my subject matter is about the mailbox. I probably would create an entirely different image. Thanks so much for your comments Jeri! |
