To me its a very interesting image and I am liking the original image the best.
The little green leaves on the top is adding to my imagination that it is situated under the shade of a tree. The run off painting is showing the age of the building. The pink flowers are adding as contrast to the image. Nice work ... |

I love to visit junkyards, one can get very nice pictures over there. However this particular image is showing very less junks around.
If you have more space on the right, may be you can include that and open up the shadow areas to show the surrounding.
If I have to see just the vehicle(without reading your intention), then it seems to be too cluttered.
The vehicle is in good focus and nice details are captured. |

Sorry Gary, I agree with the above. I tried to give it a painterly look but that also didn't work so deleted it!
When you do this experiment with intention then it may work. Let us see your second trial... |

Al, I am sure you enjoyed thoroughly this day. But this image is not working good for me.
The colors of the sky, the birds and the perch are great.
I can't say the same about the clarity and which I think is very important for a nature image. The composition is interesting but hard to understand unless I had read your comment. The details of the top two birds appear to be very smudgy. Their expressions are well captured. |

Thanks Al, Shirley & Harry for your feedback and I agree that the image looks a bit flat. I like your PS Harry. I will try brightening it up.
I have another image of the same location taken at the same time, without any human in the frame. But I chose this one and Shirley understood my point of doing so :) |
