First of all my apologies for responding so late to all of your comments to which I am truly thankful to.
Regarding the cropping I would prefer to keep as it is. Yes Gary I have many close up images of the same spring...will post them in due course.
Hung, I agree with your point of cutting the sky, but in that case I will spoil the 16:9 ratio.
Hung, Thanks for working on the Image...you are so good in this. I liked the first one, where you have brightened the dark trees a bit.

I have to agree with Piers regarding the camera setting. These rocks have got so much details which I believe you could have got with higher number of f-stop. You may consider to straighten the line of horizon.
The color and composition is making this image stand out. Good job!

I see a cast in this image, perhaps been created by the added up sky ( not sure about it...). I also see halo around the cross lines on the window pane. I would like to see more of the building or as suggested by Piers crop it tighter. |

I have been on Alaska cruise as well and have taken similar photograph. I agree with Harry's comment and would prefer to have just half of the sky space. Otherwise a very nice image indeed. |

I like it a lot Shirley! It looks so refreshing. Just wondering it's not easy to handle 500mm lens without a tripod. The sharpness, color, composition and most importantly the light are just apt. I agree that a bit more space on the left can be considered. |

I agree such places are wonderful for photographers. I myself had visited few car junkyards in Dubai and have made some nice images. Some of them are just creative ones with the rustic colors on the car.
As of this one...I feel the white on the seat cover can be burnt a little as it is taking too much of ones attention.
Otherwise a nice and colorful image. |

A good one Piers...a bird in flight is very difficult one to get but I think you managed pretty well. The BG is a bit grainy and yes sharpness could have been better but here the action is good. |
