Al, I totally understand the disappointment and the excitement you must have gone through. But that's how the nature works...isn't it? Yes I agree you can't enter a competition with this image basically for the busy BG but its a great image for the nature lover and some documentary film shots to show how the birds camouflage themselves.
I feel Harry has done a good job too by cropping it tight. |

Gary, I agree with all the above comments. How I would like to make this image:
I would crop some more from top as I am not liking the flat white sky. I would also eliminate the house on the top left corner. The grass and the marsh area could have been brightened to bring out the glow of the soft light on the grass part.
I feel its a neat image which has the potential to be improved further. |

Just a marvelous job Hung! The composition is wonderful. You have captured a moment where the onlookers of this image can already predict the next move of the dancers. Ita a captivating image ...
A great job! |

Love it Shirley. I think this painterly look is suiting very appropriately to this flower. The colors are great. And the soft morning light is adding to the delicate look of the flower. To me it looks just a perfect photo to be hanged on the wall...good job indeed! |

You really have to be very lucky to get this kind of an image. The sharpness, the light and the action are just perfect. The foreground is a bit distraction and you may consider to crop a little bit from down. Also I would suggest to clone the small white part on the right side border as it seems like a distraction to me. |
