Welcome back to the group after your summer hiatus, Jas. I look forward to seeing some of those great images captured in South Africa.
The background that you have chosen is in perfect color harmony with the vultures and provides a clean image. Well done. And thanks for providing the original for comparison. |

I agree with the other comments and also congratulate you on your patience! I am always concerned that I am missing something happening around the next corner!
The Panda is well portrayed and well positioned. My only complaint is the branch in the bottom left corner. It would be easy to clone out or crop. |

The eagle is perfectly sharp and you have shown us his environment. A crop from either top or bottom will take the eagle out of the center - bulls eye spot! |

Never seen this deer before. You certainly get to interesting locations.
I agree with Deans comments about the rear view, but your explanation is valid. The tree on the left bothers me so I cropped some off the left and the out of focus grass. Is it too much for your taste? |

Great capture with the cell phone. You are correct that he best camera for the job is the one with you!
I prefer the colors and texture of the original. Your final image appears dull on my monitor. Perhaps too much de-haze? |
