26 Sep 25 Comment I also like the minimalist presentation. The negative space above adds emphasis to your subject. Sep 15th
26 Sep 25 Comment I am also confused by this image. As you suggest, it may be better to see it with the whole series of pictures to make more sense.
As presented here I prefer Jose's presentation. Sorry!

I also find the horizontal light lines going out of the frame at the top of the curtain on each side to be distracting.

26 Sep 25 Comment This is all about color and symmetry, and both work extremely well here. Congratulations on keeping it simple! Sep 15th
26 Sep 25 Comment What a great nature moment. I have tried many times to capture a bee in flight without success!
Where to crop is always the question and is so subjective. I'm sure all 6 of our members will have a different opinion. I like the balance between the flowers on left and right. Here is my version.

26 Sep 25 Comment I like this image very much. The colors are rich and vibrant.
As symmetry is your main goal here, I would crop in from both sides to emphasize the symmetry and make each side more equal. This would also eliminate the distracting red objects mentioned by Jose.

69 Sep 25 Comment Your color selection is very good as the birds complement the beach. Crawling sounds like a good idea, but will you be able to get up afterwards! Sep 5th
69 Sep 25 Comment I agree with Dean that this is your best image so far, and I look forward to many more with your Canon Rebel.
To darken the sky I would open in camera raw>select sky> use sliders to lower exposure, reduce highlights, and add shadow.

69 Sep 25 Comment What a beautiful capture. The colors stand out so well from the background and your bokeh is perfect.
Well done on your work in post, and thanks for the scientific information.

69 Sep 25 Comment Nice clean shot of the bear. The fur texture is wonderful.
I agree with desaturating the grass somewhat. I would also clone or crop the log on the bottom of the frame as I find it a distraction and does not add anything to the story.

69 Sep 25 Comment This is a simple moon shot, but its clarity makes the image stand out.
Would you consider adding a thin white stroke to add a definite border to the image?
It almost looks like an inviting slice of melon!

69 Sep 25 Comment Thanks for the feedback and advice. In this version I desaturated the green background, Lightened the feathers and cropped even closer. I think it is an improvement. What do you think? Sep 5th
