The river is very low down at this point and there were many distractions on the water. That's why I chose to concentrate on the metal structures of the bridge and provide a balance to the castle on the right.
There are pedestrians walking over the bridge as well, so the train has to move very slowly. |

Well it seems that the majority of the group prefers the original picture and I tend to agree with them.
It's probably worth while going back to the beginning to get rid of the imperfections without over saturating the colors |

I find this image much too busy. I'm trying to read all the signs and my eye doesn't have a place to rest.
Your explanation does make it an interesting story and provides you with good memories of your visit. |

I have traveled over this bridge many times but never thought to photograph it. And your night version is well done.

I like the way that you have presented this image and I think that the inclusion of the reflection acts as a lead in to the main action.
I agree that you could open up the shadows n the mom' face.
Perhaps removing some green from the water would give it more clarity. |

I also prefer the color version. The tones of the b&w version are too similar although your second version is much better.
Good composition and story telling. |
