Kirsti, once again you have shown us your ingenuity and imagination. I would never have seen this no matter how long I examined the scene.
The addition of the harp strings does create a different dimension and I liked that you kept the grainy effect. |

I always look out for doors and windows when I am traveling in Europe. This one is well seen and shows just enough of the lovely colors and patterns. Good composition! |

Terry, you have captured his weathered and aged features so perfectly. His concentration shows his obvious love of what he is doing. And it was a good choice to remove the 2248.
I agree with Kirsti's crop. The extra microphone is an un-necessary distraction. |

I love photographing in these old European towns with their cobblestone streets and vibrant colors. The girl looking back gives the picture greater impact and lifts it up from the ordinary. |

The orchid is quite beautiful and you have composed it very nicely. I like the position of the central bloom which draws my eye into its center.
However I am distracted by the orange blur in the upper left corner, and this can easily be cloned out and replaced with the clean green background.
I don't mind the floating effect as it keeps the presentation simple. |

Probably needs some brightening also. |

Nice picture of the squirrel, but my eye is drawn away by the bright sky on the left.
I took your picture into camera raw. Selected the sky. Reduced exposure and highlights in the sky only. Back in photoshop I cropped to concentrate on the animal and had to do some cloning to get rid of the branches and ghosting around the subject. |

Wow. I would not feel comfortable getting this close. Congratulations on keeping your cool and getting the picture.
Was a good choice converting to B&W |

Your editing has vastly improved the picture. |

Well done on getting all 4 birds in perfect focus. The background does not bother me.
How difficult is it to hand hold such a large lens? I struggle with my 200-600! On safari one can always get support somewhere on the vehicle. At the local bird sanctuary I have started using my monopod. But then I have to sacrifice birds in flight. Choices, choices! |

What a great color palette with the orange and green background. And the sharpness is excellent considering how much you cropped.
Pierre's version does improve the detail in the head and body.
Do you know what kind of butterfly it is? |
