26 Feb 25 Comment As usual you are so imaginative with your presentation. This one could easily have been a Van Gogh! Or one from Picassos Blue period!
I wondered if it lacks a center of interest but decided that it doesn't need one.

26 Feb 25 Comment I really like the various layers that you have created in this picture. I would keep the top layer of birds as they provide one more layer.
My only suggestion is to tone down the bright water in the top half of the image.

26 Feb 25 Comment The head and eye are perfectly sharp and beautifully lit.
I might try a tighter crop about where the shadow starts on the body. This would eliminate the tail and bottom leaf which are not in focus and are quite dark.

26 Feb 25 Comment We have some great nature pictures this month.
I think this one really benefits from all the work you put into it. Please remove the green halo at the top left edge if the wing.

69 Feb 25 Comment It's so amazing that you can see these animals from your home.
I also found them to be too dark and the small crop has diminished sharpness. I'm sure you will get better results with the 600mm lens.

69 Feb 25 Comment So unusual to get two different birds in the image and both in focus. And I love the way you always handle the background with no distractions.
It would be great to see the original and some information as to location and time of day.

69 Feb 25 Comment The position of the second Nene makes this so awkward. I agree with Pierre's suggestions using the third Nene. Feb 10th
69 Feb 25 Comment What a captivating pose. It's sharp throughout. Did you consider including the snowflakes to provide atmosphere?
I agree with Deans suggestion to crop more from the top and I would have removed the second post seeing as you have successfully removed the rest of the fence.

69 Feb 25 Comment A simple but effective picture of the moon. And unusual in that most moon shots ate portrayed at full moon.
By the way are you aware that Sony has updated the software on our cameras to include focus bracketing - the ability to focus stack in camera. It's a simple download from your phone app and works effectively.

69 Feb 25 Comment Thank you for your comments and suggestion of a tighter crop. However I feel that the arms provide a frame for the infant. Feb 10th
