The alien and its shadow would have made a great picture. The fir tree shadow is confusing and interferes with the main shadow. I would also like to see some separation between the white cloth on the left and the background. |

I think you have achieved what you set out to portray. Its not ideal but works under the circumstances that you described. |

I agree with your composition choices and also agree with Kirsti to add some brightness particularly to the water behind the subject. |

I love the action of the Lemur in the tree.
Here is my suggested crop - by using the outer trees as a frame it eliminates the greenery on the edges of the frame and allows us to focus on the main subject. I also took the liberty of lightening the eyes by using "screen" in the "history brush" tool set at 22% |

I agree that the composition is great and well worth the effort that you put into it.
Luminar Neo has a feature to remove electric wires automatically, and although not perfect does save a lot of time.
Your color harmony works well. I would also clone out the white signal to the right of the train as Jose suggested. |

Jacob, the heron is good and sharp. You have done well to blur the background on the right but I would suggest doing this also on the left side left of the tree trunk.
The eyes are the most important part of any animal or bird picture. I use the history brush in PS or Lightroom >screen at about 20% to add light into the eyes to make them more prominent. |

Great to be able to capture such wonderful images in your own garden, and proves that you don't need to travel half way across the world to get great nature images.
The background colors compliment the main bloom. However I find that the bloom in the bottom right corner is distracting and does not add anything to the composition. I would either crop or clone it out. |

This is certainly a different composition of these wonderful animals and shows how close one is able to get to them. I had one brush past my leg as it passed me on the path!
The focus is on the mouth and the food, and so I don't think it matters that the face and eyes are out of focus. |

Cindy, it looks like you had a great trip to Costa Rica.
You have enhanced the colors on the iguana and it is perfectly sharp.
I find the upper right corner to be too bright especially the bright circle at the edge of the frame. You could try to darken that area or crop even closer to the head. |

Pierre, you are really becoming an expert with your macro photography, and the focus stacking technique.
I might crop more off the bottom to eliminate that bright area. I know you wanted to include the shadow of the feeler, but its so far away that in my opinion does not add anything. |

Dean, you have created an excellent composition with the sun in the ideal position. I like the details in the water and the foreground which is often lost in a sunset landscape.
The image is simple but effective. |
