I'm not sure what you all mean by the "leaning " warehouse building on the right. It's built on the side of a sloping hill, so I'm not sure high vertical is the ideal one to correct |

I guess I am old fashioned and conservative, but I do prefer this version. |

Good composition with the balance of the tall mountain on the right and flatter mountain on the left. I think your whales are well placed, I don't think placing them further right would make any difference.
I'm sure it was a dull day, but I would prefer to see some brightness added overall. |

Black and white is a good choice and the inclusion of the stormy sky is a vast improvement. I would like to see more contrast with the tree so that it stands out better from the sky. I also find the overall tone rather grey, with no clear white (perhaps the sheep) or blacks (perhaps the tree). |

I love the shadow and the background with its palate of reds and oranges. I'm not sure about the hands! I agree that you need them to complete the story that you are telling, but wonder if the picture would be better without them. |

Your composition is simple but effective. I love the colors of the salt flats. And the moon is in a perfect position. |

The black and white conversion has emphasized the age and wear of the tools. Your composition is helped tremendously by the decreasing size of the wrenches.
One small quibble is the bright poster in the top right. I would either darken id considerably or get rid of it. |

The background is so busy, but depicts what is typical in such a crowded city. However, your subject stands out perfectly, and of course the yellow turban makes the picture. Well seen and well captured in what must have been just a few seconds. |

The Aracaris are so colorful are wonderful to watch them eating. You have captured the action perfectly here.
I have a problem with cutting off the tail and claws as you have done here. One solution is to crop even tighter so that the main subject is more of a portrait. I tried removing the white pipe only and so preserved the tip of the tail and the claws. Does take more work though. What do you think of this version? |

The Koala is very cute. We visited Australia about 8 years ago and the koalas that we saw in the wild were much too high up in the trees to photograph. However we did go to the sanctuary in Sydney and were able to photograph them there.
Unfortunately this picture has some problems. My eye goes first to the dark spot on the tree just above his ear. That's easy to clone out. The leaves coming in from the left of the frame are unnecessary and easy to crop out. Perhaps a vertical crop would be more suitable.
I look forward to seeing many more of these animals from you.

Wow, this is such a different subject matter for you but still excellent. I admire that you are able to get down to eye level, and more importantly, get back up! The background is perfect, no interferences and the fly and grass on his back complete the story.
I am quite envious of all the places that you get to. |

Pierre, great job with the focus stacking. Unfortunately my Sony A7 does not have that feature.
I find the background to be too bright and competing with the Dragon. I will often go to camera raw and desaturate the greens by about 25%. You can also darken right there. |

Dean, I love the action that you have captured. And you have done well by brightening the image. However I still find the bottom bird needs more light, especially where the beak blends with the post.
Great job on the bokeh in the background. |
