This is so creative, colorful, and clever. I love the movement, and the way your granddaughter fades from left to right. Keep it up and we look forward to lots more creative images from you. |

Perhaps it also needs a little off the top. |

Wow, our group is developing into a nature group!
The bear is great with its paw on the tree, and the head and eye are sharp. The foreground bothers me because it is lighter than the image and out of focus. So I have cropped your image even more to eliminate the foreground. I also cropped a little off the left side to maintain some balance. What do you think of this treatment? |

Again a wonderful wildlife picture with a great nature story with the interaction between the mother and her baby.
Please darken the foreground sand and rocks to make this picture even more perfect. |

As you know I am primarily a wildlife photographer, and I love this image. So often the Zebra are eating with all their heads down or walking way from you. Here the front animal drinking and the back zebra looking at you make this composition exceptional.
Black and white is perfect for this presentation. |

Its the colors that make this image stand out. The treatment that you used in post is amazing. By the way, where is the color picker tool?
At first glance this appears as a hodge-podge of leaves. But closer examination shows that you were able to find a pattern. |

Good suggestion. Getting down is fine. Its getting back up that is the problem! |

Cindy, You have achieved a very sharp image despite the crop and hand holding at 1/100sec. The composition and story told here is great.
I would prefer to see the background considerably darker, or perhaps a vignette to focus my eye more on the subject. |

Pierre, Sorry for the mix-up last month.
The gold of the bee and the yellow of the flower work well together. Sharpness is amazing considering that you were hand holding at 1/100sec. And I love the clean background. |

This image is definitely better than your second image for the following reasons:
Diagonal composition,
face and eye are not in shadow and are perfectly sharp,
The wing tips convey the speed at which they fly.
Great capture. Well done! |

Please join me in welcoming Jas (Jaswant Madhavan) to our group.
What a wonderful image for your first submission, and a great story.
The connection between you and the gorilla is amazing and you have captured his eyes so well. The eyes are definitely the entrance to the soul. Well done getting down to his level.
I found him a little dark on my monitor, so took into photoshop raw and opened the exposure slightly. Do you think this is too much? |
