26 Oct 23 Comment Wow. You are so lucky to get the perfect shot with just one exposure. I love the treatment that you have given it although I have no idea how you did it. The rim lighting on her head and light on her hand is just lovely. Well done. Oct 17th
26 Oct 23 Comment You have captured just enough of his face to create the interesting story. His eyes are perfectly sharp and that holds my attention. The fact that the fence is slightly soft doesn't bother me at all. Oct 17th
26 Oct 23 Comment Good photography is about the light. Here you have used the light to highlight the important parts of the composition. Simple but very effective. Oct 17th
26 Oct 23 Comment This is one of my favorite pictures of yours that you have presented. Your patience and persistence has paid off admirably. I love the composition as my eye travels up the waterfall to the orange water wheel and the mill. The start of the fall colors provide a lovely setting for the composition. It was a good idea to eliminate the left hand waterfall. Oct 17th
26 Oct 23 Comment For me the picture is in the interaction between your beautiful subject and her cat. The wheel chair is secondary and so I would crop even more of the right side to eliminate the people behind the left handle of the chair. I would crop even more than Kirsti's suggestion. The people on the left don't bother me at all. Oct 17th

69 Oct 23 Comment I would also crop in a lot closer. However on my monitor the bee is not sharp enough to make this an acceptable image. Oct 17th
69 Oct 23 Comment Yes. The close up manages to get rid of much of the messy background, but I agree with Dean that I would like to see mote of the grasshopper. You have managed to maintain great sharpness and detail even at this small crop, so well done. I guess that is the advantage of the A7R. Oct 17th
69 Oct 23 Comment You have captured the action at the right moment. Feather detail is great and well done on the head not being covered by the wings.
I find the water a little distracting ,but I guess there's not much you could do about that.
