An abstract image is open to so many interpretations and the comments above do confirm that.
I would have kept the window frame to act as a boundary for the image.
I'm afraid my imagination is not so good as to see the ghosts that you describe, but I like the play of light and dark and the shapes that they gave created. |

I love the black & white image as you have presented it. Great composition but of course it is the mood created by the mist that makes this picture so compelling. The pathway is an added bonus to the composition. |

I love this kind of street photography and musicians make great subjects. Here you have captured his concentration on his music, and with his cheeks full of air as is required when playing the sax.
I agree with Kirsti's crop as it focuses all our attention on the saxophonist. |

The composition works well by including the entire stem. I just love the light coming through the flower making it glow.
Kirsti's dreamy look helps to clean up the background, but I think that your original version is just as effective. |

Thanks for your suggestion. I think the lighter building helps the composition |

Quite a coincidence that we both have b&w buildings this month.
I like the diagonals and the 2 points looking up to the sky. I would prefer to see some detail in the dark building left of center by opening up the shadows. |

Great composition. The 2 left buds being overlapped helps to emphasize the red bud on the right. The red bud is not completely overpowering as it is slightly further back. You have mastered the focus stacking so well done with that.

Great colors of the bee and flower and you have blurred the background sufficiently to reduce distractions. However I do find the angle that you have shown the bee to be somewhat confusing. |

Cindy, well done on showing us the screech owl in its natural environment. They are usually so difficult to see in the wild as they blend in with the background. The tighter crop is an improvement. |

The cardinal is magnificent and perfectly captured.
Darkening the background especially the highlights in the leaves would make the picture even better. |

A beautiful and yet simple scene taken at the ideal time of day. The fog adds some mood to the image and tends to mute some of the sun's brightness.
I might flip the image horizontally so that the dark diagonal areas in the water act as a lead in line from lower left corner into the image. |
