Converting to b&w was a good choice. Of course my eye goes to the bright sphere, which would be meaningless without your explanation.
Your original image shows the boot in sharp focus, and I would like to see this in the final image to give us a sense that this is a shoemakers shop. The figure in the background does provide mystery so well done on keeping him in. |

The mood makes the picture. My eye is drawn through the trees to the well lit tree in the back.
I think that a crop from the left would provide better balance to the composition. |

I agree that the central composition works well. I guess that the lighting conditions must have been difficult inside the museum because I find the white area on the nose of the shuttle to be "too hot" and also the yellow 'stuff' under the nose. |

Hi Terry, Welcome to our group. Its great to have another Floridian on board, even if its only part time!
I love nature and am basically a wildlife photographer, so I know that I am going to enjoy your work. And thanks for the detailed work flow. I always pick up a few tips from this.
The owl is very sharp and the slight angle is great. Pity that the background tones are so similar. Perhaps Anges suggestion to desaturate the yellows will work, or perhaps converting the background to b&w. |

This is a very busy scene, but the way that you have handled the light and dark areas helps me to go through the image to the bright area and pedestrians in the background. Well done for having the patience to wait for the pedestrians to show up and be in the perfect spot for this composition.
As for the crop, I agree that taking some off the right side does improve the picture. |

Once again your composition is spot on. I like the balance of the church on the left and waterfall on the right. The poles don't bother me, nor does the rock on the left.
My only suggestion is to lighten the dark shadows on the mountain behind the church slightly. |

Thanks Bob. This was taken before the moon rose. I had to time the duration that the light circled to catch the beam at the right moment.
The grungy look is due to the high ISO, even though I used Topaz Denoise AI. Thanks for the tip about PhotoPills |

Great action and very sharp. I prefer Pierre's crop as it maintains the edge of the horn, which is quite majestic. But as Pierre says, this is a personal choice.
I would lighten the eye of the right Ibex - our eye is automatically drawn to the eye of the subject. |

Sure is a pretty flower, and is well cropped to fit the frame.
Using dodge and burn, I would suggest lightening the center of the flower and darkening the bright areas on the petal. |

Roseate's are one of my favorite birds but often elusive. I often see them leaving the bird sanctuary as I arrive!
Your crop highlights the bird and eliminates all the extra stuff that we don't need.
I have 2 suggestions. Lighten the eye and add a highlight, and saturate the pinks(red) a little deeper. |

Great composition, Pierre. I'm pleased that you chose to include the tree on the left to add additional interest.
What time of day was this taken? You have managed to catch light on all the wings and you have managed to show them at different stages of flight. |

Dean, I am in awe. To get a small creature in flight and in focus is just great. I have tied on numerous occasions to catch a bee in flight as it leaves the flower but have never ben successful. Well done! |
