It helps to have an experienced model who knows what to do to look completely natural as your model here proves. As usual, your lighting and composition are pot on. And I love those eyes! |

I have added contrast, vibrance and saturation, and a slight curves adjustment. I think it looks better now. |

Such an unusual picture. Well done taking it with your cell phone. As you said, by the time you got your camera the light would have changed completely. You obviously didn't have time to change anything but the composition works so well.

Lovely image and I like the composition. You have done an excellent job in providing the light and dark areas in the scene.
I agree with Bob about eliminating the hiker on the path. |

Jose, you certainly do get around the world.
I like this composition and the mood provided by the rain on the windows. You have just enough in sharp focus.
My only suggestion is to crop a little from the left to eliminate the rider. His face is sharp and I find distracting. |

I agree that black and white is a good choice here, and I like the symmetry provided by the ceiling. Your 2 subjects provide a center of interest without being obtrusive. |

I agree that black and white is perfect for this image. You have done well to show us the texture in the walls wheels of the crushing machine. The black beams provide good contrast with its dark tones.

Hi Christine and again welcome to our group.
It is not easy photographing white birds, but you have been quite successful here. I like to have more space for the bird "to fly into" so prefer Pierre's crop. Also look at Pierre's picture this month of the Loon which highlight this point.
I look forward to seeing many specimens of nature only found in Alaska. |

Despite the fence, you have managed to place the bird in a good position. The background colors complement the colors of the bird nicely.
Adding a vignette will help to hide some of the fence. You could also clone out the fence if you use photoshop. |

Cindy, this is a wonderful storytelling image and displays the character of these young cardinals.
Your post process has been particularly well done to smooth out the background and eliminate the feeder.
How lucky are you to be able to photograph this from your kitchen window! |

The Loon is nicely portrayed and the light shows off its neck colors. What time of day was this image taken?
I also appreciate your composition, giving the loon plenty of space to swim into. |

Dean this image really works well in black and white. The waves form perfect leading lines to the trees in the midground and that wonderful sky which almost mirrors the water. I find the blue water in the original color image to be a distraction, preventing my eye from exploring the image smoothly. |
