Thanks for your suggestions. Here I have increased the canvas to give more space above the roof, and eliminated the light area between the trees on the left upper corner.
I could not include the base of the fence as that would have added too much unwanted objects.
And yes, that is an old washing machine on the porch. |

Your color palette is so pleasing here, with your subtle mix of warm and cool tones.
I like Bob's idea of moving the moon down closer to the main action! |

You have a great eye for patterns in all your photography. I commend you for seeing this, as I would walk right past! I think it is great as it is but agree that a vignette will probably help.

Once again another lovely portrait. Your use of lighting is superb, and the background is in keeping with the subject. |

You have been able to portray great action here. The panning effect works really well with just enough in focus.
I don't mind the tight crop but I would like to eliminate the dark patch to the left of the leftmost boot, as it draws my eye away from the action. |

I love the flower and its position in the frame. I also love the leaf behind the flower, and of course the bokeh.
What I don't like is the half leaf in the top right corner. It would be easy to clone it out or crop a little lower.

Cindy, welcome to our group. I look forward to seeing many great images from you.
The anole has beautiful colors and is tack sharp. we must be aware of the rest of the picture, particularly the edges. The bright white spot lower right corner is a distraction as is the blue on the right edge. This image would do better with a tighter crop to make it a vertical. This also eliminates the out of focus portion of the flower pot stand. |

Love this little guy. The colors are lovely and warm.
The tree on the right doesn't bother me at all as it is far back enough. |

Brenda, congratulations on last month's image that was chosen as picture of the week. Definitely one of your best images submitted to our group.
The alligator is beautifully sharp, but I find the object in its mouth to be very confusing. It's much too big to be a dead bird. Could it be a log or large tooth pick? I would probably prefer the alligator with its mouth open, with nothing in it.

Jacob, it's good to see you trying different things. I agree with all the feedback presented above, and like Pierre's modification.
Always watch all the edges of your frame to eliminate any distractions. |

Good catch, Pierre. Your second image is definitely better as the background colors are more natural. The deer stands out very nicely from the background even though it is obviously close to the background. |

Everything works for you here. The light is beautiful, the time of day perfect and the line of the sun leading my eye right into the picture.
Agree that this is your best landscape so far. |
